Don Bilotti

Don Bilotti is a West Coast native who, after spending 25 years as an itinerant actor and director, is now firmly planted in the Mother Lode. A graduate of U. C. Berkeley and the American Conservatory Theater, he was a founding member of the Berkeley (now California) Shakespeare Festival. Don has credits with numerous American theaters and it has been his good fortune to work with many of the country’s top artists. He has been seen locally as John Proctor in The Crucible, Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird, Valmont in Dangerous Liaisons and Woody Guthrie in Woody Guthrie’s American Song. Among his local directing credits are Inspecting Carol, The Cripple of Inishmaan, Ballad Hunter, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, T-Bone ’n Weasel, Catfish Moon, Mere Mortals, All in the Timing and Morning’s at Seven. Formerly the Artistic Director of Columbia Actors Repertory, he now occupies that position at Stage 3.
